"One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words."

Ahhh breathing room. I feel so much better. Life is hectic but that's ok.

Forgive me if you couldn't understand the insane ramblings of the last journal, but I'll make it very simple:

Spring Cleaning through a Druid's Eye

Spring Cleaning Time.

Eh. This may be the only time I say this, due to certain circumstances, but I really got annoyed and therefore you will (or probably won't) notice that just about all of my photos are no longer on this gallery. My "placard" at the top says "Emotional Poet" and I came to my gallery and all that I found were photos.. two poems visible. I got frustrated. -shrug- I think i'm just really moody because my doctor's pumping me full of drugs right now because I'm nutty. -grin-

Anyway... the thing I was going to say this time and never mention again--- is that I don't know how many of my watchers watch me for my poems, or for my photos. I would gather most watch me for my poetry because I get a lot more comments for poetry than photos. If you care about my photos, then check this out: druideye Strictly photos. No poetry. Only photography. I won't muck up my poetry gallery with photos any more, unless it's a header for a poem. I'm tired of pushing off my poems and feeling torn about wanting to show a photo, but wanting to keep a poem up too. Call me silly, call me anal, call me compartmentalizing --- it's all been said before :D.

I am also removing poems that I feel aren't very good quality that I wish to work on a bit more. Things which have gotten comments such as "this isn't your best work" or "this is mediocre". A good thing, I think.

And those wondering about the Tyranny of Hope project, damn! People are as lazy as me I guess, because there's tons of folks that still haven't given me their pictures/photos! Though to tell the truth, being that this is self-published -- with our current project being buying a house and my parents trip to Alaska, pushing the project back a few months is in order for us so I'm not complaining at all. I'm looking for early summer, instead of spring. But the book WILL be published this year! Even if I do it without the pics people have promised me. I'll give a deadline once my financial situation is in order.

Thank you all for the comments, critiques, support.

Pills, Sins and Photos

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 9, 2004, 6:38 PM

Mood: Popping Pills Drugged
Listening to: Sting
Reading: A Door Into Ocean - Slonczewski

Recently wrote the poem on the Seven Deadly Sins, and I'm planning on writing on on the seven virtues as a companion piece. Though, right after I wrote that poem, I started on some new meds which has caused me to just... be blah and sleepy and un-creative. So anyway, no poems cause I can't think very well.

I did go out with my camera on Sunday (or was it Saturday? I honestly can't remember now that I think about it. Made my husband take me to Guignard Park, Riverfront, and finally to Elmwood Cemetary. That place is monstrous! You can drive and drive and drive.. wow.

Buying a house is exciting and oh so very annoying and frustrating. We put in an offer. It was countered. We offered again. And we are still waiting for another counter-offer. -sigh-

I've been doing a lot of critiques for ~ WeCritique lately. That's been interesting. Wish I could do more, but it really does take a lot to do a good well thought out critique, and I do like to do them for those I watch as much as possible as well.

Don't forget to visit ~Ectheliual and tell him I sent you! Great epic elven poems.
